Same-day service doesn’t mean a rushed job — it means the diagnostic process happens faster, not that steps get skipped.
An emergency inspection starts the same way any inspection does: tracing the interior damage back toward its likely roof-level source, then checking the transitions and penetrations most likely to be the cause. What’s different is the priority — getting a temporary or permanent fix in place quickly to stop ongoing water intrusion, rather than a multi-day scheduling process.
Depending on conditions, we may recommend a temporary patch on the spot to stop the immediate leak, with a full repair scheduled once the area is dry and any additional damage can be properly assessed. If the roof is unsafe to work on (actively raining, high wind), we’ll advise on interior containment until conditions allow safe roof access.
The goal of an emergency visit is always the same: stop the water, document the damage, and get you a clear next step — not just a temporary fix and no follow-through.
What We Bring to an Emergency Call
Because emergency calls often need to result in at least a temporary fix on the same visit, we come prepared with common repair materials suited to a range of likely scenarios — flashing cement, patch materials for common membrane types, and basic tools for immediate containment work. This is different from a standard scheduled inspection, where we might return with specific materials only after fully diagnosing the exact need.
If the emergency inspection reveals something requiring specialty materials or equipment we don’t have on hand, we’ll be upfront about that and explain the plan for getting the permanent fix scheduled quickly.

Will you definitely be able to fix my leak on the first emergency visit?
In many cases, yes, at least with a temporary fix that stops active water intrusion. Some situations require a follow-up visit for the full permanent repair, which we’ll explain clearly if that’s the case.
Do you inspect the whole roof during an emergency call, or just the leak area?
We prioritize stopping the active leak first, but we do check nearby transitions and the general roof condition as part of the visit, since that context matters for the permanent repair plan.
