Roof Deck Repair
The structural layer beneath any roofing system — rot or damage here affects flat and sloped roofs alike.
The roof deck is the structural surface (typically plywood or OSB) that the roofing material and underlayment attach to. Prolonged water exposure from any leak, flat or sloped, can rot or delaminate the deck, which needs to be repaired or replaced before new roofing material goes back on. Deck condition assessment is part of any thorough roof repair, regardless of the roofing system above it.
